Chris Van Etten featured on ’68 Whiskey’
This week, Paramount Network’s new series, 68 Whiskey, features Marine veteran Chris Van Etten. In this episode, Van Etten’s character “Louisville” loses his legs to an IED, then begs medics to give his wife a letter he’s written. In real-life, Van Etten lost both his legs in 2012 after he stepped on an IED while serving in Afghanistan. The show follows a multicultural band of Army medics stationed in Afghanistan on a base nicknamed “The Orphanage.” Executive producers Brian Glazer and Ron Howard skillfully blend intense drama with dark humor, making this series must-watch TV.
